Due to the fact that i didn't got my IPPT Gold, a few of us are specially chosen to undergo training with our wing comd. 0730 at Yio Chu Kang stadium is really a plunge of our morale especially on our book out day. However, after the session, things does not look so bad.
Sets that we did.
Warm up
- 2 round stadium
- 20x push up and sit up
2.4km run specific training set
- 6x400m with 1:20 pace with 1:1 rest time
- Overall splits are 1st n 2nd lap 1:20, 3rd and 4th lap 1:25, 5th and last lap 1:28.
- Damn shag after the workout
SBJ specific training set
- hopping using ankle x100
- squats x 20 counts of 4
- SBJ hop x 3
- Hop up steps
Felt that i had seen the good side of our wing comd. Sacrificing his Sunday time to training with us youngster, sharing his old-school but somehow still practical knowledge with us. Felt the sudden chill of his fatherly love like once i felt from pekya (motherly love of course).
Lastly some brief description of our wing comd. 40+ guy whom looked like 50+. Heavy smoker since his cadet time (can you believe he is still alive, all the anti smoking ads seems to be unreal!). His sharing or chatting session can last up to hours. Always come out with morale dropping suggestions!
