2009 Races and Training Programme

After marathon, next is to think about what races to do for 2009. Wanted to continue with a long dist running lifestyle after SCM. Nvm lets look at what race i want to join next year.. (TAS has yet to update their 'Events')

Singapore Biathlon: (March): 1.5k(S) 10k(R) *Signed up already
Sundown Marathon: (May): 42km(R)
OSIM Triathlon: (July): 1.5k(S) 40k(B) 10k(R) *Depend on pricing.
Singapore Bay Run: (August): 21k(R)
Desaru Long-Dist Triathlon: (August): 1.9k(S) 90k(B) 21k(R)
Standard Chartered Marathon 2009: (Dec): 42k(R)
*Few small running events such as Saucony, Mizuno and New Balance will still take part.

Not sure whats Coach direction for next year, will check with her. Currently from what i see, majority will be running events, spiced up with bits of seawater swim and under the sun rides.

Foresee my Desaru LDT will not train as hard as compared to Aviva. Training will focus on bike, running leg should be fine with the few running events before it. Aim is to experience the terrain & hills of Malaysia.

Ah Bu's Magical Pot

My mother coming up with her new recipe again.

On the left: Kumuat Grape Enzyme. Basically Grape, Lime & Lemon. although there is so much sour stuff inside, usually the end-product is decently sweet!

On the right: Walnut Enzyme Vinegar. Walnut, Lemon, Hawthorn and Apple Vinegar. Initially, my ah bu left out the apple vinegar. That why we are wondering where the hell the juice will squeeze out from. All the ingredients are all dry products except the lemon. This pot have a longer period of 2 months!! So far what it had produced are oil from the walnut. The viscosity of this enzyme seems to be thicker than the rest.

On the left: Papaya Kiwi Enzyme. Seems like papaya is a common ingredient used.
On the right: Lemon Enzyme Vinegar: Enzyme ending with the word "vinegar" means that apple vinegar is added. Only Orange and Lemon is used. Drinking this enzyme will sure shrink my face and squeeze all my wrinkles out!

Currently still got 2 more processed enzymes in my refrigerator, yet to finish them. Now everyday got fruit 'juice' to drink, thou abit bitter due to the fermentation.

More coming up!

Are you a hubber?

SITEX had ended yesterday. This time i didn't work for Lenovo due to vacancy of slots. But still i went down for all 4 days of SITEX!

Day 1: Check out the Starhub offer
Day 2: Sign up for the Starhub CableTV but met with some problem
Day 3: Finally signed up for the service and got myself a free LG DVD portable player..
Day 4: FW, CH and LY asked me to join them for lunch. -_-" say that since i came for the past 3 days might as well come down on last day.

So yes, im finally a Hubber!! Been planning to be a hubber for quite awhile. Not just that , i had transfer all the ownership of the mobile to my name. Means next time i dont need to bring my Father down to Starhub centre to settle any admin issue.

Benefits of being a hubber

  • Enjoy exclusive savings on monthly subscriptions:
    • Up to 30% off StarHub Mobile (4 lines)
    • 10% off StarHub TV
    • 5% off MaxOnline
  • (NEW) FREE home phone line services with StarHub TV & MaxOnline.
  • Enjoy handset upgrade on your Principal Mobile Line every 12 months
Next year my sister will be shifting over to Starhub also. Making in total 4 lines, which entitled to 30% off. Lets say all 4 using PV100, $35/mth. Means cost saving of $40/mth. My current maxonline is bundled with CableTV for $59.90 plus rental of hub station at $10+. estimate about $20+ will be saved from them. Another $100+ annually from the Home Phone Line.

What I'm looking forward is the handset upgrade, means i can sell a plan annual. Somemore my parents don't change handphone frequently. Another $250 earned! Additional reward point of 300 will be credited to my account monthly on top of my monthly bill reward point. Every 1000 points i can redeem a free 1 month bill of my current PV100 plan. Every 3mths i can save another $35
