Inflexible: System, Instructors or Cadets

After being in OCS for the past few weeks. I started to wonder sometimes, is it really the system, instructors or cadets screw up? System cant be prefect to satisfy everybody, so its left for the cadets to take the initiative or challenge it. But usually the cadets initiatives are held back by the instructors, yet the instructors always blamed on the cadets that we are inefficient and unmotivated. Its always like 'Tai Chi', the blame is always being push here and there.

Let go into 'being focus on the things we do" topic.

Instructors let to say that cadets are not focus in the things we do, either get off track or look too much into minor issues. I got one scenario which shows that both are equally not focus.

Conducting briefing: The instructor is suppose to just give a brief on the simulated firing practise. However, he ended up going into the conducting brief of the live firing and sharing some of his experience etc... which would be briefed again on the day of live firing.
The live firing briefing off tracked some cadets that they started asking questions of it, yet our dear instructor also happily answered all their questions in detail.

Hey! our briefing here suppose to be simulated firing practise! This whole briefing ended up almost an hour plus, cutting into our lights out timing which is 2230. We have been busy the whole day cleaning our wing for the commander OCS area inspection. We also have to wake up early next day morning to go for the simulated firing practise.

Morale in my wing have been always low, even on book out days. Instructors doesn't seems to be in any interest to push the programme. Most of the time, lessons are being postponed due to their lack of preparations. Even during the lesson, they make mistakes which i think can be avoided by studying beforehand.

Seriously, i like both my wing instructors and cadets. But i really find the administrative work in the wing is not done well or should i say "alot of room for improvement"
