This is not a movie review post about the guy who can teleport to whatever place he wants to be. I'm in a similar situation as him, teleporting to many places but not the places i WANT TO BE.

Start at 6am.
Standard Chartered seminar/talk (not very sure). Very simple, just need to do the breakfast buffet for arrival of guest. My role just need to ensure all the coffee & tea is prepared. During the arrival i only need to 'act busy' by doing some clearing.

Setup of M9 for Standard Chartered guest for their lunch. Nothing much also. Down the butter, sugar jug etc.. Shift some tables due to organizer's last minute request and skirt a table for reception. Initially only given 2 girls to help, then came a few guys to sort out more stuffs.

Now at Chilhuly waiting for a meeting/presentation of Siemens to end. Able to 'siam' the turn over of ballroom to a 700pax setup. Chit Chat with Rahimah and Chew Hung at back area while preparing some turnover stuffs so later.

During the conversation, RHM (Rahimah), she told me that i looked like 26 when she first saw me~!!! Adding on to the pain, one of her sentence "i wonder why so old already, still want to come BQT". Wah! cannot take it liao.. Damn emo after that..

Then one of our topic come to blogging. Woah our RHM also got blog, some more 2 years already. Same as TOT!! Anyway she commented that my blog name is F***ing GAY!!! haha!! Morale level went out of the extreme spectrum..

After which is a turnover for that night's dinner. A classroom setup into dinner means slim table out, round tables plus extension in.. Some more got dance floor and stage, lucky all prepared at M floor.. By 4plus all done! due to the help of extra staffs last minute being sent up.

Back to Ballroom as Captain. Haha got 3 groups to man instead of the rest who got 4 groups.
Tonight's dinner got "Lo He" (Yu Sheng again~) Thankful that i did my 'rehearsal' last week.

Then i know my role for the first course is not as simple.. I need to do Lo He also, for VIP table -_-".. Never mind, just need to dump all the ingredients that's all. Just when all the guest are settling down, then Boon came to me and say I'm also involved for the Fan Fair, to carry the Lo He platter up to the stage for Su'An. 0_0!! That's 5mins more to the Fan Fair!!

Up to the stage this time~ Damn hope i don't trip and fall or make a fool out of myself.. Lucky this time is 1 big platter instead of individual plates and 2 guys behind me to 'build up my courage' at least i don't feel like I'm walking alone..

Rest of the day nothing much interesting happen, usual stuffs. Only need to add in 5 tables to the current setup as the next day is 840pax company function!

Saturday
Lazy to get up the bed in the nursing room. Air Con damn cold, feel like i dint get enough sleep. Finally got up at 830 and still managed to make it for the 9am shift. But with a super bad hairdo! Hair at the center just cant press them down, some more I'm wearing spectacle..

By right I'm suppose to work in Ballroom for the setup but 2 people 'no show' for M floor, end up I'm being asked to help out. Back to the M floor days, just stand outside the meeting room and wait for things to happen. Anyway still glad that this happen. Totally have no mood for the setting up of the 800 pax.

Chocolate Brownies

M floor is really boring, but compare to working in the hot and humid ballroom, its a much better place. Bearing with the boredom, try to find things to do or chat with aunt. I got to know that I'm working in Chihuly for 110pax wedding dinner. Pretty turned off when heard that. Small events sure little people that i know. But then, ballroom also don't have much close friends, also its got to be busy and packed for that events.

Later i found out the staffing for Chilhuly, not bad. Almost half regular with a few, at least 2-3mths old already. However, that night, I'm really not in a mood. Hence nothing nice to talk about.

Ballroom Ot till 4am while Chihuly till 2am. Glad that i changed my mind, to work till 2am. Really very tired.. While we doing the clearing after the wedding, the only access to Chilhuly, the lift is down! Though we need to hand carry all the tables and chairs for the turnover for next function.. Luckily, next day function is cancelled last minute! Means OT for nothing!

Had my supper break at 12mn, returned to Ballroom at 1am (MIA for 20mins) to help the ballroom OT staffs.
