Back to working inside Ritz, feel so lost. If noticed, for the past few working days, its all OC for me. Even forget to get plate before queuing up for food at the cook house.
Started at 11am, M floor. some Company's CNY Lunch. As usual and simple except Yu Sheng for the first course. Only 30pax, easy peasy..
Never see this course before. Very interesting!
Looks more like a Western Course than Chinese 7th Course. Each platter is served with half a lobster (small one la)
Just when i was about to try this course, aunt came running to the beverage store looking for me urgently! Fucked i thought 大姐 looking for me.. Then she say, you want 红包 or food.. Quite a obvious decision to make! Throw the food to stewarding and rush into the room. When entered, i thought that i wouldn't be so nice, so i 'gay siao' try doing some clearing.. Then the host walk over to me and pass me the 红包.. haha! 发阿! Huat Ah~
After getting 红包 quite sian to work for evening's dinner (target hit). Heard that now due to cost cutting, staffs have been greatly reduced to minimum and lots of full time staffs are being deployed in to BQT (lateral service) after going thought this training session called MTP - Multi-Task Programme. So the previous night, the ratio of PT to FT is almost 1! Imagine the uncles and aunties from dept like housekeeping and finance whcih have no experience/link to service coming to help with just a few hours training..
Event: CIMB Security CNY Dinner. 550 Pax
Lucky got to work as VIP, together with CH.. Total of 10pax and Khor as our IC.. Total guest arrived, 9. Total guest remain after the CO speech (before the first course), 8. Total guests remained by dessert, 5!
Throughout the dinner, we have encounter with uninvited 小强. For detail story, can msn me. Overall the dinner is fine. However seems to be quite a few unhappening things happen here and there. A few breakages, 1 spillage, staffs & guest sent to hospital. Heard that the guest was drunk, fell on his head, leading to a puddle of blood at Stella Gallery. Handling the FT for OT is a tricky issue, cant really 'instruct' them to work, usually need the manager to step in to 'gan everyone', ya including us. But that's part of the 'show' la.. Cant make it so obvious that manager is scolding them. Good thing is, most of OT stuffs being done by 12mn!
Nothing more for this week. Only working next week OC on Tuesday.. Would be working once weekly for this period now i guess. Abit lazy.. haha!
