Getting Ready for Exams!

Finally going to complete my 21 weeks of lectures. Now moving second stage which consist of Preliminary Exams, UOL revision workshop (By UOL Lectures) and Local revision classes (By local lecturers).

Preliminary Exams
2nd March: Principles of Accounting
9th March: Principles of Banking and Finance
11th March: Management Mathematics
12th March: Principles of Marketing
*They don't contribute to the overall grades

Strategies
POA: 14 more days
Mainly calculation questions. Need to practice all the lecture illustrations and make sure i know how to use all the rules and apply them.
Can break up into Financial Accounting (12 topics) and Management Accounting (8 topics)

PBF: 21 more days
A mainly theories with some calculation to support the answer. Cant be help, need to memorize main concepts of each topic. Total of 8 topics, 2 are calculative, rest theories. Got 1 week

MM: 23 more days
Pure calculations! Approach will be trying out all revision questions (waste of papers!!). 2 more days from PBF, will put it as the last module to revise.

Manageable ones: Set Theory, Index Numbers, Matrices, Stochastic Modeling & Processes, Forecasting, Econometrics and Exploratory Data Analysis..
Tough and hope they they come out for exams (i got to be dreaming): Complex Numbers, Difference and Differential Equations.

POM: 24 more days
Pure theories!! Total of 13 chapters. Guess i need to burn lecture notes to drink liao~ Was a blessing that the lecturer have been giving us assignments and class tests on heavy topics, to ease our learning curve when comes to revision. Also constantly teaching us how to answer essay questions to meet the UOL standards. This module reminds me of army.. SMOKE GRENADE! just throw..

Will study this module together with PBF during the 1 week 'break'

Revision Timetable!!

Peach Colors are by UOL Lecturers: 10:00 to 17:00 (2x full days)
Pink Colors are by local Lecturers: 8:30 to 15:00 (2x 3hrs class)

Got another 1 week break before revision starts. Was thankful that all my lessons on Weekdays afternoon. Compared to my sister, whom got a few weekend slots. Will be late for 2 swim sessions and 1 run sessions.

Working also no much impact, friday lesson ends in the afternoon. Still can make it for evening shifts. But will look into the training programme of the team whether they will be doing long runs on Sat.

Anyway economy not good, Ritz also in low peak. HOPE IT LAST LONGER LIKE THAT, maybe till May. haha!!! So i can don't so bother about working so often. You know its so tempting to work! Whenever you call in and the coordinator telling all the available days. You will go like $_$, but end of working days you will be like @~@...

Roughly got my March, April and half of May sorted out.. Will start planning for my Q3 on end of April, such as looking for Full Time bank related jobs.

Should be STUDYING!
