Looking Ahead | April and May

Going to be the end of March soon. Dealing with Triathlon of life, with similar 3 disciplines, Work, Train and Studies. Need to start making plans for April and May, especially when races and exams are coming up! Got them plot up on an excel sheet for easy viewing

Pink is school and exam, Dark Green is training and race, Light Green is Work.
*Those with poker dots are tentative planning, especially for training and work*

School
Now moving on to the phase 2 of the first year, which is revision and revision, by both Local and Oversea Lecturers. As you can see, first 4 weeks (starting next week), i need to spend more hours in school compared to the first half year. The last 2 weeks will be exams with only 1 paper (POA) on the first week. Followed by the rest, chained up and bombarding me consecutive for 3 days!

Training
Just noticed that SIM had created a team for TAS Inter-Collegiate & School Aquathlon 2009! Keen in joining their team, will contact the In-Charge to ask for more details. The team is actually part of SIM life-saving team.. dont worry TP Team, i post no threat.. haha!

So including the race which is on 25th April, which makes it 5 weeks from now. Another race coming up in May is Sundown Marathon, 30th-31st May, just 2 weeks after my exam.

So the plan is to continue training with TP team, while doing some familiarise run of 10-16km. After the Nationals, will then increase the mileage to 20+km while still preparing for exam. After exams, maybe can attempt to run the Sundown route, minus the Coastal and ECP stretch. Last week for taper. Had slotted in more possible training timing slots for run and swim. Run in the morning (cause i enjoy the morning sun and dislike drinking water early in the morning) and Swim in the evening. Training will cut on the week of the first exam.

Work
1st year in SIM finishing soon, means new fees to pay for the upcoming one! Figures in my bank account still yet to hit 4 digits! Hopefully my 'holiday' can manage to get a full time job on a contract basis. With the uncertainty of the available slots to work, i only set aside Saturday to work. If no slot means training, SIMPLE! Reluctant to touch my Sunday but will see hows the event structure like.

Work will cut off on the 4th week from now. If stick to my standard to aiming $100 per days, means i can only earn $400. But it's a super optimistic forecast. 2months with $400 from work, wah~ that's more sad when I'm learning driving...
