Few more hours before i depart for Taiwan. Another 'tour' for me to have fun and relax from the ever stressful and tiring military lifestyle. Well of course i made full use of my 'block leave' (which is actually BLOCK of few hours leave they owe us).
Start off in the early morning 0630, i met Mr Teo for breakfast, do our usual coffee talk and follow him back to Springfield. He bought down my Merlin ti frame. So we are discussed whether should i sell the fork and frame together or separate.
Next highlight of the day, 0730. I met Wilson for our 'maintenance' workout. We cycled from Tampines to East Coast, Fort Road then back to Coastal. At Coastal, we did 1min:2min pacing of 31-33km/h and rest. Estimated mileage is about 40+km. Follow up next is swim, our intent is do some drills, hopefully can maintain some standard in our swimming form. But after the 40+km ride, our rusty legs are already jelli-fied to do decent kicking. We ended up hugging the kick board and floated a few laps.
Ard 1030, we proceed to Mensa to eat our lunch. It has been mths since we had a decent and more humane food. We ate spaghetti, set meal, soup follow by 2 cups of soya bean milk. When we are about to leave, we saw Kiat Rui. what a nice timing to help us keep our plates and cutlery. Thanks to him, we need not walk extra steps in our rigid cycling shoes.
When i reach home, i spend almost 3hrs, together with HP's IT consultant to figure out whats the problem with my new desktop. In the end, they need to send a technician down to replace the motherboard for me.
Around 3plus, i went over to Wilson's place to do WAXING! Wilson had finally pluck up his courage to do a armpit wax.. Well still waiting for his courage of confession, rather than keep testing the water.. please la, water also wait till stagnant liao
In the evening, i finally got to meet up with SJ after weeks since i last saw her. Nothing much we had to chat about other than her appearance. She looks rather pale and tired, especially with the eye bags and panda eyes. She waited for me to have my dinner before walking back to her block. She even waited together with me for the bus. I felt so fortunate in spite of such trivial action i received from her.
Lastly i went to my grandma house. Ever since i entered OCS, i hardly see my grand parents. I'm sure they had missed seeing me alot, especially my grandma. Everytime without fail, she will call me on sat to check how am i in camp. Prior to the trip, she even packed a huge 'ang bao' for me.
4 more hours and i will need to leave for Airport. Will be taking my rest now.
Taiwan here i come,
