$$ for you Handphone plan

Recently stumbled into this forum which my sister frequent. Quite a interesting way to get handphone by asking sellers to renew their mobile plan and offer a price for it.

$$$cash$$ for Singtel,M1,Starhub users paylist.

Just need to read the first post. Maybe can just zoom into the price list area..
Note that the pricing he posted wasnt fix. Today maybe 300 for Starhub(SH) Powervalue(PV) 100. Tomorrow can fluctuate between $200 to $400. When a new HP model is released in SH or Singtel, Prices can also shoot as high as $400 for the lowest PV 100 plan! E.g. Apple's Iphone which got itself into the news when it is released in S'pore.

What interest me is the person who came out with this concept (not the guy who made the posting). Taking advantage of this opportunity to make money using the dollar difference in HP with and w/o plan.

Try this, select a HP model that you like from shops like starhub, singtel or even their retails shops (Nokia), ask what is the retail price (w/o line/subscription). Then go to any online shop (scondary market) to check this model's pricing (Mobile Square) and check how much your plan can lower for the HP.

E.g. HTC Touch Diamond
Suggested Retail Price: $1098 (possible to be slightly lower, maybe 900++?)
Starhub's PV 100 Plan: $498
Mobile Square: $790
*Notice the large gap?

So your plan rightful worth $600? (Retail price minus Plan price)
Dealer offer you $200 for your plan. >> HP now worth $698 to the dealer
Dealer sell for $790 >> Make $90.
Actually is freaking hard earn money unless you got known demands or else risking holding onto $800 worth electric gadget which will drop in price say 3mths down during another IT show.

BUT in the forum, the guy is willing to pay $300 for the plan, making the HP worth $798! Loss?
I don't know.. Mobile Square is just a gauge for me to see how much is the secondary market selling their first hand stuff.

With dealers anticipation or known of the demand for phones, they adjust the pricing for your plan. Just like stock. Can read this news pretty interesting. Yahoo News (hope its still there)

So any friend who is short in cash, HP still working as good as new. Can consider selling your plan. Try waiting till IT shows, where SH or ST is able to offer better deals with their plan, you plan price will worth better. Currently waiting for Iphone to be launch by SH, not sure price will be as good as ST..

I already got N82!!
