The Ritz Carlton

Started wokring there since Poly Year 1. Always heard me talking about the Grand events held there and nice food which i often managed to get my hands on. Decided to open another new section to post on the interesting things in Ritz which i enocunter. Foods, Events, Decorations etc..

Now with N82, i can go around snapping pictures in Ritz. haha!

WOORI INVESTMENT & SECURITIES

Worked for Breakout Room last week. In Ritz Banquet we have a few areas under us. Ballroom, Millenia Floor and Breakout Room. Breakroom is a meeting session, using the guest room as the venues. Usually on a one to one basis, not more than 8 people. Each room a different agenda or topic. So what happen is the people will be entering and exiting the rooms in a round robin manner with a time interval fo 1hr (or set by the organiser).

This time it is WOORI, a Korea Investment Bank. The each rooms are for the representative of companies, LG one of them.

Breakout Room is the MOST BORING place to work for. We have to station outside the corridor while the guest are inside having their meeting. Every hour need to enter the room to replenish the stationery and beverage. Limited place to walk around. Can 'snake' but need to be planned out. If working with strangers usually no one will make the effort to come out with a slacking plan.

The only nice thing is to watch the scenery and the interior of the Ritz bathroom.

Personally i only like the bathroom of the Ritz. With the bath tube next to the large window panel. Looking out of the window while soaking in a hot tube of water of rose petal, holding on to a chill drink. Wah~ Shiok de lo!

Now mostly working in Millenia Floor aka M-Floor. Most of the time handle meeting also. But at a much larger scale, 20< pax. More or less got the program for such meeting memorised.

After the meeting, depend on the next day's program, decide whether we need to do much arrangement to the room.

M floor usually manned by a few regulars. Hence easy to plan out a resting schedule. Food is of abundance there. Mostly finger food, easy for us to eat also.

Cold Dish:
Green Tea Soba Noodle with Shiitake Tofu and Spring Onion
Quil Egg with Cream Cheese and Avocado Puree


Dessert:
Coffee Canele

Grilling of Beacon
1 TUB OF BEACON!!!

The beacon is irresistible! When grilling it, the smell had filled the whole kitchen. Once its done the chef just dumped them all into a metal tub. Hehe, a 2 slices of them.
